Europe is considered a very beautiful continent altogether. Home to some of the most beautiful countries like France, England, Spain and many more. Thus, it’s no question that a lot of the homes that are in Europe look very luxurious and breathtaking. A lot of castles can be found in Europe and a lot of people back in the day used to live in castles of their own. As seen in the live-action version of the movie, Cinderella, which took place in France in the late 1800s to 1900s, even people considered as somewhat normal people or commoners had castles to live in. Their castles are huge and beautiful, most having a very meaningful history behind them.
Another example of a very historical place that looked like a castle but was actually a mansion is shown in the series based on a true story, The Haunting of Bly Manor that took place in England. The actual story took place in Hampshire but, the short series took place in Essex. The hallways in the mansion would seem like they go on and on. In the short series by Mike Flanagan, the manor went through a lot of historical moments too. Fun fact, there is actually no such place by the name of Bly in Essex, England.
So, unless the building is newly built, a lot of homes, castles and mansions have a lot of history behind them. Plus, a lot of interior designs used today in any country takes a lot of inspiration from European homes. Even modern homes, like in Malaysia, that have an operable glasswall specialist install a glass partition wall Malaysia take a bit of inspiration from Europe’s interior designs to make the area look better. That being said, here are a few of the most luxurious homes in Europe:
Buckingham Palace
We all know the famous Buckingham Palace in England, home to Queen Elizabeth herself for a few decades now. Currently known as the most expensive home in Europe, The Buckingham Palace is as grand as it can get. Fun fact, Queen Victoria was actually the first English royal to live in the palace. Only since then that it became the official royal residency. Only the best home for royalty.
Villa Leopolda
Located in the French Riviera, the majestic Villa Leopolda was first built in 1902. Fun fact, the Villa was actually built by King Leopold of Belgium, hence, Villa Leopolda. As tall as 27 stories with a whopping 19 bedrooms, the Villa is also surrounded by beautiful gardens and a huge swimming pool. Moreover, it is, without a doubt, one of the most expensive homes in Europe worth half a billion dollars at the very least. However, it is also considered a bit overpriced as a Villa standing on the mainland of Europe.
Bran Castle
This would be a fun one. Rumoured to be home to the infamous Count Dracula himself, the amazing Bran Castle in Romania is also one of the most expensive homes in Europe. It became a museum in the 80s before later being sold for an unknown amount. Nonetheless, it still stands to this day as one of the most expensive and luxurious homes in Europe with 17 bedrooms and 40 other rooms. That’s… a lot of rooms.
One Hyde Park Penthouses
This on the other hand is the penthouse for you. If you had 200 million dollars, of course. Yes, you read that right. 200 million dollars for each penthouse at the One Hyde Park Penthouses in the United Kingdom. Now, not only is it one of the most luxurious homes in Europe but it is also one of the most expensive homes in the United Kingdom. With facilities galore such as private gyms, entertainment centres and a lot more. Plus, it’s overlooking one of the largest parks in London. It’s the dream house of anyone who dreams to be rich.
Moscow Manor
As most of us now, Russia is a country with high prestige, and in this prestigious country, there is the Moscow Manor. Considered one of the most privileged residentials in Russia, the Moscow Manor features many incredible facilities. This includes a large swimming pool, a recreational centre as well as guest homes. The area, in general, is located just a few miles outside the Russian capital and that area is also included as one of the most privileged residential areas in Russia.
